Stakeholders - Accounts(Companies)

The companies are the top-level stakeholder when it comes to asset management.

The stakeholder system we are using is based on 3 levels:

1. Companies
2. Locations
3. People

The companies support hierarchy, giving the opportunity to create the full map of any large organization(f.ex. corporation) or include vertically or horizontally partners or other types of entities:

The companies have the following properties by default:

  • Name
  • Type – Own, Customer, Vendor, Subcontractor, 3PL, OEM, Partner, Internal, Other
  • Service Provider – Yes/No which indicates if the company will be included in Service Orders
  • Parent company
  • Primary contact – contact details of a person used for contact with the company, but not necessarily an employee
  • Address information – full list of address attributes

Associated people – this is where the employees are listed and those people are the ones that can be used in different processes. They may or may not include the primary contact.

Associated locations – here is the list of the locations the company operates on, they are different types and help us to create the locations model of the company – from HQ through warehouses and end-user stores for example. Here we have the list of locations where any of our assets could be allocated or when purchased – shipped to.

Associated Assets – this is the full list of active assets the company has with their operational statuses and current location and assignee. The disposed assets are not a part of this list.
